Synopsis: Na-mi is the new girl at school. As her countryside accent comes out she gets mocked by the school bullies. Soon a group of girls jump in to assist and befriend Na-mi. She joins this group dubbed SUNNY and they promise to stay friends forever. This promise does not hold as they are torn apart by a sudden accident.
25 years later Na-mi is married with respectable husband and a beautiful daughter of her own. Despite this life she still feels something is missing. By a chance encounter she bumps into Chun-hwa and is so excited by this she tries to find and contact the other members of SUNNY.
